Rho is a full-service clinical research organization (CRO) that works with some of the nation’s leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies. Rho helps their clients bring new life-changing therapeutic drugs and devices to the world through clinical studies.
Our partnership, which began as us serving as their project vendor, has deepened into becoming Rho’s trusted brand guardian.
To help celebrate Rho’s 30th anniversary of “Giving Flight to Research,” we developed a team-building exercise that put their scientific minds to work. Each group was given all the materials to design, test and build the most epic paper airplane ever. Some soared. Some floored.
Rho’s team approach to clinical studies differentiates them from their competitors. They deploy one multi-functional team to follow the study from beginning to end. To clearly communicate that to their top prospects, we developed a direct mail campaign that was anything but expected.
“I have high expectations of R+M … and you just exceeded them.”
Tara Gladwell, Vice President, Operations
We’re huge supporters of brand culture (it’s something we shout from the mountain tops). And Rho has a great one, which isn’t the norm in the world of clinical research. One thing that permeates throughout the halls of Rho is coffee. They love the stuff. We used that truth to appeal to like-minded individuals traveling to the Research Triangle Park.
For many of Rho’s customers and prospects, Biometrics is such a critical component of their clinical trial. But finding a CRO partner who simultaneously excels at quality, capacity and speed is rare – that’s where Rho comes in. We wanted to position Rho as the expert guides of this complex land. How better to do that than to design the “Land of Biometrics” based on vintage travel posters.
“WOW. Those sketches exceeded my expectations by miles and miles. You guys rock.”
Jamie Hahn, Executive Director, Corporate Communications
80% of Rho’s customers rate them “superior” or “very superior” compared to other CROs in the competitive space.
